About
TraXX is a Denver-based organisation devoted to 18xx, founded in December 2018 to bring together players, designers and enthusiasts of railway-themed economic games. Its first convention, TraXX 1, was held in April 2019, and after the pandemic it returned with special editions and an annual gathering each May, held over four days, Thursday to Sunday, near Denver International Airport, with limited places.
Beyond the convention, TraXX designs and publishes games: since 2020 it has released print-and-play 18xx titles such as 18 Los Angeles, published five issues of MAINLINE magazine between 2021 and 2026, and partnered with GMT Games on 18 India, a tribute to Francis Tresham. Several of its magazine games have since been republished by Marflow Games.
