About
Behold Games is a game shop in Ultimo, in central Sydney, specialising in board games, role-playing games, dice and trading card games. The business grew out of a large Sydney tabletop meetup group, started in 2018 by hiring venues for game events, and opened its physical store in Ultimo in 2021, where it hosts weekly game nights.
The shop runs Behold! Trains, an 18xx game weekend held from Friday to Sunday in the store. Players bring their favourite 18xx games and poker chips and play freely, with single-day and weekend passes. Behold Games also organised the first Sydney 18xx Con in 2019, announced at the time as the first convention devoted only to 18xx in Australia.
