Deep Thought Games, LLC is a small US company based in Smyrna, Georgia, known in the 18xx world as a print-to-order publisher of handmade 18xx games. In the 2000s it released titles such as 18EU, 1846, 18MEX, 1889, 18TN and 18VA, many later reprinted in larger runs by other publishers; according to BoardGameGeek it no longer manufactures games itself.
The company is the organiser and contact of the Chattanooga Rail Gaming Challenge, held in Chattanooga, Tennessee, since 1997 and billed as the longest-running rail gaming convention in the US Southeast. It takes place each January from Thursday to Sunday, with an 18xx tournament, a Puffing Billy tournament sanctioned by the Train Gamers Association, and open gaming with new games starting every hour.
