About
ManorCon is a board games convention that has been running in England since 1983. It is now held at the University of Northampton's Waterside Campus over four days in late July, from Friday afternoon to Monday, and most of its roughly 400 attendees stay on site in a university hall of residence; the 2026 edition set a record of more than 420.
The event is mainly open gaming, with a bar, canteen, games shop, second-hand sale, Blood on the Clocktower and traditional late-night games. Alongside Diplomacy, 18XX is one of its regular tournaments: games of four to ten hours are played mostly in the quiet gaming area, results are recorded on forms, and a teaching game starts on Saturday morning.
