Quem são
A 18xxBelgium é uma associação belga sem fins lucrativos (vzw) que organiza a Belgian 18xx Convention em Malines (Mechelen). Nasceu do grupo de jogadores de 18xx do Spellenclub Mechelen e organiza o evento desde 2018, atraindo um público internacional de 40 a 60 jogadores por edição.
A convenção realiza-se duas vezes por ano no Colégio de São Rumoldo, no centro histórico de Malines: uma edição de primavera, de sexta a segunda-feira pelo Pentecostes, e uma de inverno, de sexta a domingo, normalmente no final de novembro. Jogadores experientes conduzem e explicam muitos títulos de 18xx segundo um calendário de sessões, autores e editores apresentam novidades e protótipos, e o sábado termina com um aperitivo e um churrasco.
